In the wonderful tradition of black photographers who included their metropolitan areas, Denver experienced Mac McCloud. His full photograph archives are housed at the Denver Public Library, and a guide of his images has been revealed. Mac McClouds Five Factors Photographing Black Denver 1938-1975 (the University of New Mexico Press) offers buildings, information activities, national celebrities throughout their visits to Denver and the joyous, daily lives of people today. KUVO spoke with social geographer and creator William Wyckoff about the job.
